37 Weeks-Full Term

Time feels like it is slowing down the closer we get to baby Daher's birthday. We of course don't want him to come until he is ready, but we are SO excited to meet him. I missed week 36 post, nothing too major happened. We had our weekly doctors appointment and she informed me that I was already 1cm dilated. I was excited until she told me I could stay here for weeks....talk about first time mom on edge. We also got surprised with a 36 week ultra sound. They just wanted to measure the baby and my fluid levels. They were estimating him at 6lbs last week so he should be 6.5lbs this week. They think he will be in the 7lb range by delivery.

Ahmad and I are trying to be as patient as possible and taking advantage of this precious time we have just him and I. ( And Leon too) :) In a couple weeks it will no longer be just the two three of us. We have been doing a lot of date nights and having fun with house and baby projects. We have also been stocking up like we are getting ready for the zombie apocalypse. Freezer is full and we have ample amounts of toilet paper and paper towels.

Sorry this weeks photo is a little blurry. All of our camera's are packed and ready to go and I refuse to let anyone touch our hospital bags or take anything out, so this pic was taken with a phone.

How far along: 37 Weeks
Maternity clothes: Anything comfortable...I have about 4 outfit choices at this point.
Stretch marks: Small ones under my belly from baby Daher dropping so quickly.
Belly button in or out: Out.
Sleep: Tossing and turning at night with bathroom breaks. Trying to catch up on sleep during the day with a nap.
Best moment this week: Well it was technically last week, but finding out I am 1cm dilated and seeing our little guy on the big screen again.
Worst moment this week: The hot weather. It makes me feel gross.
Miss anything: Being able to pick stuff up off the floor. I would say moving in general has become a hassle.
Movement: A lot.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks/contractions, cramping, swelling in my hands, feet and face.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Estatic!
ExerciseWalking
Cravings: Turkey & Havarti sandwiches, cheeseburgers and pancakes.
Wedding Rings on or off: Off
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm not going to lie, the thought of delivery is a little scary, but I have faith in God that he will be there watching over us and mother nature is going to take over and do her thing. We are feeling prepared and confident, but I would appreciate it if you would keep us in your payers for a smooth and safe delivery.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby!!

Belly button in or out: I think it had popped as far out as physically possible!
Sleep: Sleeping A LOT! Loving Naps.
Best moment this week: Getting our maternity photo's back. They are beautiful! Also, Ahmad felt the baby's hiccups. :)
Worst moment this week: The weather is heating up and i'm starting to get toasty.
Miss anything: My usual energizer bunny energy level, feeling very sluggish.
Movement: A lot, like usual.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, cramping, swelling in my hands, feet and face.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Estatic!
ExerciseWalking
Cravings: Loving food! Especially baked goods. I wish I could walk into a bakery and eat it ALL!! Lately, I will eat and then be starving in a couple of hours...I am turning into the bottomless pit of doom.
Wedding Rings on or off: Off...I can't get it on past my knuckle.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Looking forward to: Our next doctors appointment and seeing how this little guy is doing.

We had a great time celebrating Mother's Day. Saturday we took my family out for a dinner celebration in honor of my Mom. On Sunday Ahmad surprised me with a sweet gift, a rubber ducky for my charm bracelet. Ahmad and his brothers planned a brunch for all us ladies. It was a lot of fun, especially since I am pregnant, it was my SIL first Mother's Day and my MIL's firs Mother's Day as a Teta. After brunch we went back to our house and all had a lazy afternoon hanging out and playing with baby Zane.

Hope everyone had a beautiful day with their Mothers and families.
